When you think of Will Smith, you think of guaranteed box office gold. He is one of the most successful actors in the industry, but his most recent movie, Gemini Man, has unfortunately been a box office dud.

Gemini Man was even directed by the award-winning Ang Lee, but that couldn’t prevent the movie about a retired hitman getting tracked down by a younger version of himself from being one of the most underwhelming flicks of the year.

Sadly, two Will Smiths couldn’t save Gemini Man from joining Wild Wild West and After Earth at the bottom of the Will Smith barrel. Here’s the real reason Gemini Man bombed at the box office.
