Sheep in the middle is a fantastic game to enjoy learning the sentences. unlike Monkey in the middle ( my other Game # 205 ( https://youtu.be/BNw8Xu45P9o ) the sheep in the middle will try to escape. My students in the video are more active, so I focussed more on the discipline. I have also played this game with my other groups, they are nice and they enjoyed it a lot.
This game you can play without using any materials. sometimes the kids have to listen to ( or say ) the sentence structure so that they can easily use them in daily life. I've used the same game for other content too and you can also manage accordingly.

Variation #1; One student is a sheep in the middle of the circle trying to find a way to escape, while the kids in a circle will try to not let him or her go out. Each kid ( in the middle ) will get 3 chances to try, if he/she succeeds, then fine, if not then the teacher will call out another student to be a sheep in the middle.

Variation#2: The sheep in the middle will ask each pair a question while gently tap the hands to see if he/she can go out. while the students in the circle will try to hold hands tightly and don't release it.

Variation#3: blindfold the sheep in the middle. play music, or kids singing a song. when the music stops, the one in the middle point to someone and do Q & A or can guess to practice " who is he / she " or to practice clothes like the blindfold in the middle will ask " who is he/she ? or what's your name ? and then ask Is she wearing a dress? is he wearing a jacket? etc.
