2020 Honda Insight Hybrid EX | 0-80 MPH

0-80 MPH in my new Honda Insight Hybrid, in Sport mode, with the wide-open-throttle kick down switch pressed. Filmed close to Warwick, DE, 20ft above sea level, about as close to sea level as you can get. 54° outside air temp. Was really gentle on it the first 600km. 151 total system horsepower. LE6B 1.5L i-VTEC inline 4 cylinder, pared to dual electric motors and an eCVT. Way faster than a Prius. 0-60MPH in 7.7 seconds. Plenty of pep, with more than enough power for passing and merging on the interstate and busy city highways. Has a really nice electric motor sound at the beginning too. This goes to show that hybrids aren’t slow anymore, and you can have fun in a hybrid and still get great gas mileage. Hybrid and Electric vehicles are the future anyways so I might as well try it out. Enjoy!
