BETTER THAN THE M3 - 2023 BMW M340i xDrive SEDAN - FULL REVIEW & TOUR

Just like I prefer the M550i to the M5, I prefer the M340i to the M3. Here is my full review and tour of the 2023 BMW M340i xDrive sedan. xDrive means it's the all-wheel-drive M340i. Priced at just under $70K, loaded, the 2023 M340i xDrive gives you a lot of BMW M power and performance, in a more gentle, more luxurious package.

I spent a week with the 2023 BMW M340i xDrive sedan and really enjoyed myself. I think it has a great blend of luxury and performance. It also comes with BMW's great engineering and design and all the M suspension and handling components. You can drive it like a luxury car in Comfort mode or put it in Sport Plus and really jump on it.

This M340i had the optional Shadowline package: bold, high-gloss black finish on mirror caps and grille, plus black chrome exhaust finishers. The 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine is enhanced with 48V mild hybrid technology, which delivers heightened eBoost power while optimizing efficiency. 3.0-liter BMW M Performance TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder, 24-valve 382-hp engine. Combines a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection

The standard M Sport brakes provide excellent fade resistance and refined stopping power, while the bold blue or red calipers add a sporty and stylish touch to your sedan. You also get M Sport Brakes with Blue Calipers, M Sport suspension and the M Sport Differential. Power is delivered through an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission with Sport and Manual shift modes, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and Launch Control.
