Keeping Cultural Authenticity: A Santa Fe Story | Andrew Lovato | TEDxABQ
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Dr. Andrew Lovato explores Hispanic and New Mexican cultures of yesterday and today through his research and writings. In his home town of Santa Fe, the interplay of local culture and commercially-driven influences has created the adobe Disneyland that many tourists have come to love. But where does authentic culture stop and the myth of commercial culture begin?
