Chrome 96.0.4664.45 drag and drop hyperlink issue

0:00 When we compose an email, we used to be able to drag links from web pages into the message and they appeared correctly. It still works in Firefox
0:22 Now in Chrome 96, when I drag a link into the email message, it becomes an attachment with the file extension ".url". Totally useless.
