Clemson's Shelton Mitchell Takes Elbow To Head, Helped Off Court at FSU

Clemson guard Shelton Mitchell suffered a scary looking head injury Wednesday night against Florida State. Driving for a late bucket in overtime, Mitchell got his shot blocked then took an inadvertent elbow to the head from FSU's Trent Forrest. Mitchell stayed on the ground for several minutes, before being carried off the court. Head coach Brad Brownell told reporters that Mitchell would have to go to the hospital to receive a CT scan.
