Over the weekend the Covington Catholic students Native American story blew up. Unfortunately, almost everyone who weighed in on the controversy got it wrong, from youtube news like Phil DeFranco to traditional news outlets like the Washington Post. What went wrong? Well, the very hatred and bias the media outlets were denouncing, only they were pointing the finger in the wrong direction.
