2021 Mercedes AMG A 35 4matic Hatchback Full Tour & Review

The A-Class is the entry-level Mercedes car, but this AMG A 35 adds some pep to this hot hatchback.

Back in 2019 we featured the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class, and even gave it our Best New Car of 2019 award. This year we're driving it's sportier brother in the form of this 2021 Mercedes-AMG A 35 4matic hatchback. The hatch isn't sold in the United States, although you can configure the same vehicle as a sedan. Our full tour and review goes over what you need to know about the A 35 AMG, how it differs from the regular A-Class, and the options available for this vehicle.

We take the 2021 Mercedes-AMG A 35 on a road test to talk about how it performs, handles, drives, and rides, including our real world fuel economy testing which was only slightly less efficient than the 2020 Mercedes-Benz A 220 4matic sedan we drove before. We perform a 0-100km test and keep the car in Sport+ mode with manual shifting throughout.
