For the Buttery Pretzel Base -
180g ground salty pretzels
50g melted butter
100g golden syrup

For the Chocolate Brownie (for a 10" tin) -
165g 70% dark chocolate
165g unsalted butter
330g caster sugar
3 large eggs
45g cocoa powder
120g plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

For the Italian Meringue -
320g caster sugar
100ml water
120ml egg whites
pinch of Creme of Tartar
pinch of salt
vanilla extract
