Jones BBQ & Foot massage is a viral commercial uploaded to YouTube in early 2009. It is bizarre to say the least and has elicited a vast spectrum of reactions from its viewers. The man in the commercial, Toby Jones, has inadvertently become one of the most beloved old school YouTube memes due to his charismatic performance in the commercial. But, with that said, Toby Jones is a character. What few know is that Toby Jones is played by stand up comedian Robert L. Hines. Hines has played the Toby Jones character across a handful of parody style commercials including "Jones Truck Rental and Storage" and "Jones Pre-Paid Legal and Daycare Academy. The Story of how Robert Hines got involved in these commercials and became Toby Jones is almost as remarkable as the commercials themselves. This is that story.
