Felix Hell at Age 8 - Prelude and Fugue in C Major, BWV 553 - Saratov Conservatory (Part 1 of 4)

Today, exactly 25 years ago, I had my first organ lesson - an event that changed my life forever. To mark this special occasion I would like to share some early memories with you over the next few days. I have pondered a long time over whether or not to release these recordings, but I finally decided to do so, because - in a way - they mark the beginning of an ongoing musical journey. They are from my first international appearance at the Saratov Conservatory in Russia in 1994. They are very special to me and I hope you’ll enjoy them.
