Knockout League The Great Magician Grudge in 1:38

This is one of the worst fights in the game because of how much execution and luck you need. I guess that's to be expected from the final fight.

Phase 1 went well, getting three counters to knock him down is really hard. Pick a card is actually okay if it's his third attack, because you get to hit him two more times before your counter punches, and it will usually knock him down. Otherwise you'll get three regular counters, and most of the time he isn't done by that point.

Phase 2 was okay, just as long as he didn't do pick a card again.

Phase 3 was king. The punching needs to be super tight in this phase for a two counter knockdown, and a blockable punch is required. He gave it to me, I got the two counter knockdown.

As a note, Magician is the only opponent in the game where time runs as he's standing back up and during the Knock 'Em Out section. Because of this, you end up spending an extra 7 or 8 seconds after winning waiting for him to fall down (Punching him doesn't get him to fall down faster than 7 seconds). It also makes it best to knock him down to the left (Though left staggers are the slowest, so it's tricky).
