DK Metcalf Is A True Freak Of Nature, But How Did He Get To This Point?
DeKaylin Metcalf was born on December 14, 1997, in Oxford, Mississippi. DK didn’t even put on a helmet and shoulder pads until he was 12. Once DK finally got a taste, he knew he wanted to make a career out of it as his dad had.
He made varsity as a freshman and played all four years, first on the defensive side at safety and then at wideout. During his high school football career, he had 224 receptions for 3,302 yards and 49 touchdowns. Regarded as a four-star prospect, Metcalf was ranked the No. 14 wide receiver. As a freshman at Ole Miss in 2016, he appeared in the first two games of the season Scoring touchdowns in each. Next season In 2017, he Played and started in all 12 games had 39 receptions for 646 yards and seven touchdowns which Ranked also 7th in the SEC. SEC All-Freshman, Week 10 SEC Co-Freshman of the Week. He finished his career with 67 receptions for 1,228 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Metcalf was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round with the 64th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the ninth of 28 wide receivers. On May 22, 2019, he signed a four-year deal worth $4.6 million.He made an immediate impact in Seattle’s offense, racking up 58 receptions for 900 yards and 7 touchdowns. 2020 So far he has shown out in the most positive way ever. 36 receptions for 680 yards, and 7 touchdowns.

At this point it's like what can he not do. But there is only one question left is he the 2020 version of Calvin Johnson?
