Repairing HP-Compaq CQ56 Laptop - No Video Signal - BGA Reballing

Hello, a friend of mine asked me to reball the graphics chip of his old laptop, he reflowed the chip 2 times in the past and the laptop worked for a few months each time, hopefully reballing will last longer, if not, then i'm going to replace the chip.
I did not do reballing for a long time...lets hope i remember how to do it :)
I'm going to use my homemade BGA rework station and low cost DIY equipment to do the repair.
Laptop manufacturers use thermal pads on the northbridge chips which have bad heat conductivity and the chips overheat and fail with time, to prevent overheating you must regularly clean the cooling system and renew the heat conductive materials (thermal paste, thermal pads, "better to use copper shims instead of thermal pads")
