Matheson and Upton enter this final race of the season only separated by a mere three points. With Matheson at 6.04 and Upton at 6.11 career bests, both men are capable to run a five at any moment.

We take you inside Matheson’s pit area to get a close look at his nitromethane motorcycle and his innovative new motor design. We also look back at Matheson’s devastating 2013, high speed crash that nearly ended his life. Matheson talks about what keeps him going and what he was able to salvage from this historic motorcycle he purchased from Larry “Spidermam” McBride and Jimmy “Hulk” Brantley.

We give you inside access to the pit areas of Upton and Matheson as they compete in this winner-take-all event. They entered only separated by three points. The first two days of teh Gulf Wetern Oil Winternationals experienced rain but Sunday was absolutely perfect.
