Šarūnas Jasikevičius - The Most Emotional Coach in Europe

🔹We are very happy to present our first mini-film about one of the best coaches - Šarūnas Jasikevičius. We believe that this film will give players and coaches at least minimal ideas about their communication and emotion control during the games. Also we wanted to show how emotional coach Jasikevičius is and how he communicate during timeouts, with players, referees and coaching staff.

🔹We would also like to draw the attention of coaches who, observing the emotions of Euroleague coaches, transfer them to their practices with childrens. A lot of young coaches, seeing Jasikevičius emotions, think that they will achieve the best results in this way with their youth players, but it can be a big mistake. Seeing so many screaming coaches on 9-10 year old is pretty weird, but it’s normal for young coaches to admire the best and try to replicate them. Kids don’t need that, emotions on players should rise gradually with age, coaches should give kids the enjoyment of the game rather than the pursuit of victory at any way. We need to understand that we see all the biggest emotions and screams at the highest level where professional players play, not a kids.
