How to deal with Intense Emotions-A Therapist's Approach to Grief and Sadness
Most people don't know how to deal with intense emotions like grief, sadness, etc. I don't claim to have all the answers, but I have found some strategies that work for me when I'm feeling strong feelings.
How to deal with intense emotions:
Intense emotions come and go, but for me, breathing through them can be helpful. I am gentle and compassionate with myself, allowing myself to cry. I let intense emotions pass through my system, noticing how they feel in my body.
