If you are really keen and if you have a couple of hours to spare, I highly recommend you to paint along with this video; Even to the point where we are trying to follow each and every paint stroke.
I find that many people give in because their drawing is not turning out as they have planned. However, as we can see, my drawing looks like a mess until its finished! We wish we could just magically and instantly create these great final outcomes. However it is usually necessary to go through these unappealing preliminary steps, believing that if we just follow through we will get to the end and achieve satisfying results.
Having said that, it takes experience and training to visualize the final outcome and to exactly know which preliminary works that must be done to achieve an aesthetic outcome. So I think this is where the video comes in handy. The video shows, in real time, the entire process; Every single brush stroke from the preliminary stages till the addition of details.
Just from looking at the final artwork, it is hard to know how the artists achieved their outstanding results. But they are just putting color on the canvas. What makes them great is that they know the process and they know that if they follow through they will get good results.
So I am saying this again but, If you are keen and if you have some hours to spend, I highly recommend you to paint along with this process video to achieve similar results. Once you know the process you can apply that to your own artworks! Also make sure to Subscribe for more real time painting videos!
Anyway, this video is going to be a very long so please be prepared. Relax, chill and enjoy! Please note this painting process is something between a 'real time' and a 'time lapse'. The speed has been increased a tiny bit.
