Women: I Can't Believe I NEVER KNEW... | Thomas Sanders

It is March and this month, we do our best to remember and pay tribute to amazing women in history. To do our part, my friends and I decide to challenge ourselves on our knowledge of women's history! I could not BELIEVE some of the things we found out!! Gotta love a little girl power!!

For Women's History month, I sat down with six girls from different walks of life, and we talked about people who deserve a little spotlight! We discussed people such as Ada Lovelace, Anne Bonny, Valentina Tereshkova, Jin Xing, Lorraine Hansberry, and Marsha P. Johnson, and all their contributions in fields such as computer technology, politics, media, space exploration, seafaring, and women's rights. We end with our thoughts on why things like Women's History Month is so important. Truly, a fascinating and poignant experience for me, and hopefully the others involved, and I hope it is for you too!
