When I was 12 I liked a girl in the grade below. I've always been super shy but talking to girls was super difficult, let alone talking to a girl in the grade below. What would people think of me if I screwed up? What if she doesn't like me? There were a million things I was worried about, but there was one thing I wasn't thinking of that ultimately helped me get past my shyness.
