In this video I will process a small lot of quartz I collected from old mine dumps with a metal detector. We will discuss gold bearing quartz – various qualities (trace to super rich). How small to crush the rock, do multiple screenings, and don’t smear your gold around in the crusher. I will take the gold and mix it with a flux and melt it into a button, weigh the final product, and talk about turning your finds into cash.
