Achieving the "Impossible": Lessons from a Deaf Woman | Rebecca Dadey | TEDxOnondagaCommunityCollege

Rebecca delivers an energetic presentation on overcoming obstacles all through her life. She shows that something such as not being able to hear should not hold anyone back.

Rebecca Dadey, Associate Professor of American Sign Language (ASL) at Onondaga Community College (OCC), has been in the field of education for 12 years. As a strong culturally Deaf woman, Rebecca is a native bilingual in ASL and English who has many accomplishments in life, defying stereotypical expectations often placed on deaf individuals. Beyond the classroom, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, running, participating in triathlons, and simply enjoying the little moments that life has to offer.
