Pharmacology - CHOLINERGIC DRUGS (MADE EASY)

Cholinergic drugs are medications that inhibit, enhance, or mimic the action of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is the primary transmitter of nerve impulses within the parasympathetic nervous system. This pharmacology lecture covers topics such as mechanism of action of cholinergic agonists, cholinergic receptors; muscarinic & nicotinic, direct-acting cholinergic agonists, indirect-acting cholinergic agonists (reversible & irreversible), cholinergic toxicity & adverse effects.
