This Mod Prevents Your BMW From Engine Failure! + Installing New Drive Belt and Pulleys | EP6

In today's video, I am going to be installing one of if not the most important preventative mods to the BMW N54 engine. This part can prevent a shredded belt from being sucked into the engine, where engine failure is a likely factor. If you are lucky, you may be able to drop the oil pan and remove the belt carnage, which is still a big job. Spend the $69 to buy a crank seal plate instead of a few thousand for a new engine. I will also be installing new drive pulleys and a new drive belt to compliment this since my pulleys make a squealing noise on cold starts.
