Cambodia: Siem Reap School for the Deaf
Joel spends the day at the Siem Reap Special Education School, one of the deaf schools in Cambodia that has several full-time deaf teachers teaching over 150 deaf students. They believe passionately in teaching deaf children bilingualism- both Cambodian sign and written languages because it’s the key to their success in the future. The major challenge they encounter in teaching the children is the lack of electric light in the classrooms. Watch the video to find out more! (captioned)
