Elizabeth Tilley, who learned to read as an adult, gives back by volunteering with the Literacy Cooperative's STEP (Supporting Tutors, Engaging Pupils) program, which is a pilot one-on-one tutoring program focused on helping under-performing kindergarten and first graders with reading.
