Bench Press FIXED In 4 Simple Steps

Fix your Bench Press to better develop your upper body in 4 simple steps!

1️⃣ To get the right grip width, make sure your forearms are vertical to the floor at the bottom of the press. Now grab the bar. Position the bar low on your hands, close to the base of your thumb. So you can maintain a safe upright wrist position.

2️⃣ Before you unrack the bar, make sure your eyes are positioned over the bar. This helps you avoid hitting the rack on the way up. Now keep your chest up while engaging the lats to unrack the bar. Push your feet into the ground to increase stability.

3️⃣ Bring the weight towards the lower chest with slightly tucked elbows to keep the resistance on your pecs. Avoid flared elbows to protect your shoulders.

4️⃣ Tap your lower chest with the bar and push the weight back up over your shoulders in a J-curve path. Keep your feet tight on the floor throughout the entire movement. Repeat the repetitions until you get close to muscle failure.
