I took a gap year after high school, and then I was all set to start college in the fall of 2020. Pretty quickly, I realized that the pandemic would affect my plans, so out of the options I was faced with, I chose to take ANOTHER gap year. I’ve already taken one, why not take another… right? *nervous laugh*

This year has had its ups and downs, and it’s impossible to know how it might have gone differently if I had chosen to start college anyways buuuut I do still have some thoughts on the pros and cons of choosing to defer college for (yet another) year.
