Ratting43 2019

The last few outings at our favorite ratting farm, shot over 400 in the last 5 trips there between us, without doubt the best spell in ages!
Air rifle is my trusty HW100 12ftb .22 using AirArms Diabolo Field 5.52's, scope is the ATN X-sight 2, 3-14x, with a T38 940nm IR torch.
I zero around 25yds as most of the shots are well under that, hence the hold over on many of them!
I use the Primos tripod shooting sticks and wherever possible, support my body against a tractor/trailer/wall/gate/fence post, that way I am as steady as I can get!
Many people ask what we do with the bodies, as you can see, we have a few followers (cats,dogs,foxes and owls) that clear up quite a few before we get a chance to pick them up, other rats even drag the bodies off and eat them too, those we do get to pick up go on the farm muck heap, where the buzzards finish them off!
