A Holy Week Experience in CUTUD, PAMPANGA

Every year the re-enactment of how Jesus Christ had suffered before he died on the cross is becoming the central presentation in the Philippines and it is done in Cutud, Pampanga on Good Friday during the Holy Week. I can only watch on television about this since I was young but I thought seeing this in person would be something special and how it is done by the people who had been doing this every year as a tradition and showing Catholic culture in the Philippines. Foreign media would come from all over the world to watch this and take photos of the people and performers. People who had major sins would be whipping themselves until they bleed and walk for miles just to go to the main area where the person would be nailed on the cross as part of their belief about repentance and salvation.
