A buzzword is a word or phrase that is currently popular or fashionable. Some people criticise them for being used too much, but they exist for a reason – they’re useful! In this vocabulary lesson, I’ll introduce you to nine buzzwords and phrases which are currently in regular use. We’ll talk about: the new normal, synergy, unprecedented, unpack, think outside the box, reach out, courtesy call, go viral, and unmute.
