Can You Find GOLD Nuggets with a Pin Pointer?

After being chased off by a big King Brown snake after finding two nuggets last week using a pin-pointer.... I thought this would be worth a revisit!

Now its definitely not a completely proven theory, I have only done it twice with mixed results. However, there is definitely some advantages to using a pin-pointer to identify possible crevice gold deposits.

Because it identifies metallic things it will show you where the heavy things have dropped out of the system, often including gold. It will also allow you to make sure you have fully cleaned out a crevice, leaving no hidden nugget behind.
But because of its 0 discrimination settings it will pick up hot rocks like no tomorrow! That was the one downside to using this method.

In time and with practice and refinement it think this could be a valuable odd stacker.
