What did women wear in the 1980's? Day and evening wear styles from top designers.
1980's fashion was a blend of classic styles with a modern twist. The 1940's look of boxy shoulders and pencil skirts was very much in as can be seen in this fashion show.
New designers like the late Mary Restivo are featured as well as well known names like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Also Mary McFadden, Gloria Sachs and Carolyne Roehm.

Presented by fashion spokesperson Aniko Gaal for the now defunct Garfinckel's department store in Washington DC.
