The Blood Starved Beast is easily one of the hardest bosses I've fought in a souls game and going up against it in our Bloodborne Blind Let's Play, I seriously considered Rage Quitting. Through several tries of a Rage Montage, we were able to overcome it, though. We found a good cheese for the boss with Pungent Blood Cocktails, but no where to farm them. This Blind Playthrough has been super fun so far, and I'm loving Bloodborne.
