Follow along in 3D 180VR with one of our Keeper Coordinators Lynda, as she does a Positive Reinforcement Operant Conditioning Session with some of our cats! Operant conditioning is a method of learning that occurs through rewarding the cats when they complete asked behaviors....for our cats that's not tricks, but anything that can assist with veterinary care, such as coming into lockout, coming to the side of the enclosure, and laying down.
