Anthony Mackie talks about how he used his New Orleans accent during his audition for The Juilliard School. For the tryout, Mackie did Edmund from Shakespeare's King Lear and Blues for Mister Charlie, James Baldwin's second play. The actor who plays Falcon in the Avengers franchise sang a song from The Fantasticks, a musical by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones. Mackie also gives a tip for weeding out the fake New Orleans natives from the real ones.
