# OpenTX 2.2.1 Released - What's New & Different
Welcome to another video from RCdiy.ca
This video goes over some of the changes introduced with OpenTX 2.2.1.
Please read the documentation for details and updates on what I will be showing you.
A link to the documentation will be placed in the description below this video.
-----------------
Some of the main changes since 2.2.0 are as follows.
Added support for the X10 transmitters from FrSky.
Using OpenTX the wireless training feature can now be used between the X7S, X10, X10S, and X12S.
The X7 transmitters now have a new model wizard. This creates standard, V-Tail and flying wing models. There is also an option for multi-rotors. Download the SD Card contents using companion to be able to use the wizard.
On FrSky transmitters there is now an alert during shutdown if a telemetry capable receiver is still on and connected.
For FrSky transmitters the mass storage option has been removed from companion and placed on the radio setup screen. The options are to default to Joystick, mass storage or to ask. Using the ask option, with the transmitter on connecting it to a computer using a USB cable brings up a menu to choose between Joystick and Storage.
On the X9D and X7 series of radios when two or more models on the same transmitter have the same receiver number a warning is displayed. Now the warning includes the name of the other model with the same receiver number.
On the X7 radios there is now a setting on the hardware screen to set the maximum baud speed. This is to fix problems the X7 is having with Team Black Sheep's crossfire.
On the statistics screen there is a new total timer. It shows the cumulative time the transmitter has been used. This could be used to track how long the battery has lasted on its current charge. Long press enter to reset it.
The model checklist can now be edited using companion. When a model is selected on the radio this optional checklist is displayed. Use it as a reminder for various things such as the battery to use, when you acquired the model and from where; Note anything you want.
Companion's log viewer now can separate a single log file into sessions and export each session into their own log file.
This was just a brief overview on the additions, changes and fixes introduced with OpenTX 2.2.1.
