India Election: Modi ‘weaponising’ Hinduism to win votes say critics

Prime Minister Modi had seemed on a path to a comfortable majority with lots to say on economic growth and development - for some at least.
But his increasingly anti-muslim rhetoric over recent days has surprised even the opposition, leading to fears that while he may be trying to fire up his base - it's leaving those at the sharp end very scared.
