Homeless mother finds permanent home in LA

Cindy Guevara, who was in and out of foster care and shelters, finally got a place that she can call home in East Los Angeles.

The single mother of three children learned important life lessons from nonprofit Holliday’s Helping Hands and got a voucher for permanent housing.

While raising her three children, Guevara is pursuing her dream of becoming a photographer and going to a film school.
