Transformations during the COVID-19 Lockdown | Savleen Kaur Pasrija | TEDxElproIntlSchool
Savleen, in the most entertaining way, shares her journey of 11 months into lockdown. She shares three of her personal phases of the lockdown, which were marked by unproductivity, self-realization and a deep sense of satisfaction procured from bonding and working towards skill-development. A journey which started with over-indulgence in eating and watching TV, soon transformed into learning karate, rekindling the love for piano, reading books, organizing online quizzes for friends and teaching grandparents the perks of online shopping. Staying inside her home for months at a length, she realized her love for nature and how, as she put, “great times bring out the best of you, but hard times, surely brings out the best person in you.” Savleen is a fifth grader at Elpro International School.
She has great passion for dance and music. She is gold medalist of Brainstormm Spellbee and has represented her music academy as a keyboardist on 15th annual forum of Akhil Bhartiya Sanskrutik Sangh. She has also won several awards in Abacus and sports events at school and UCMAS academy. Making friends and talking to new people is what exhilarates her.
Savleen chooses to be a Jack of all and master of none as her phase currently. She thinks, wider areas she gets to explore now , more is the probability to find what is closest to her heart.
During current Covid lockdowns she got immense time to spend with herself. She had some eye opener experiences which she would like to share with us. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
