Girl breaks security barriers to run to the Pope in UAE

The incident took place on Monday afternoon shortly before the pontiff was due to say Mass for 170,000 people at the Zayed Sports City stadium. Heart-warming footage showed the girl, identified as Gabriela from Colombia, crying as she bolted form the crowd towards the Pope's convoy. Despite being hauled back by security at the event, the Pope quickly gestured for the driver of his Popemobile to stop so he could speak to the girl. One of the guards then held her up so the pontiff could give her a blessing.
