Early Morning Plane Spotting at East Midlands Airport, Cargo Op's | 22-06-21

On the shortest night of the year I decided to utilize the super early morning and do some spotting at Britain's busiest cargo hub

I arrived around 3am and stayed till half 6, catching the beautiful sunrise at 4:30am, as well as many freighters. It's great to see how much different this airport becomes during the night

One movement of particular interest was a TUI Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which infact was being used by DHL for a cargo flight to Miami - Not everyday do you see that! Definitely a unique sight. See below for timestamps of all arrivals and departures
