3 Balloon Laser Test

Armed with a 532 nm laser and three balloons, we set out on a mission to test if the color of the balloon affects its susceptibility to laser light. The result is as expected...the green and white balloons do not absorb green light but rather scatter it, leaving them unscathed. The black balloon, however, is not so lucky. The absorbed light is converted to thermal energy that pops the balloon.
