Paper Quilt Technique with the "Parisian Flourish" 3-D Embossing Folder!

I'm excited to share a beautiful background technique with you today! This "Paper Quilt" technique is super FUN and I just love it - I think you will as well. While I used 1" x 1" squares, this technique will also work beautifully with strips of paper, or another shape and design conducive to quilt patterns. I really like the look of the squares for today's card designs.

You can use any Designer Series Paper patterns, different coloured card stock, stamped card stock, leftover scraps, etc. Try different colour combinations and alternative stamp sets too. I also used our new "Parisian Flourish" 3-D Embossing Folder to create the raised embossed texture for a quilted look (which is AMAZING) - most embossing folders will work too, giving a multitude of fabulous designs.
