Will Smith APOLOGIZES to Chris Rock for Oscars Slap

Will Smith is apologizing to Chris Rock for slapping him during the 2022 Academy Awards, following a joke the comedian made about wife Jada Pinkett Smith. In a statement posted to Instagram, the ‘King Richard’ star also offers apologies to the Williams family and the Academy. He writes in part, ‘Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable.’
