USB Mic Comparison: Rode NT-USB, Audio-Technica AT2020, AKG Perception 120

Uncomplicated and quick to set up, USB-Microphones are a really neat tool for anyone recording often and fast. In this video, I am comparing the new Røde NT-USB against the more established Audio-Technica AT2020 USB and the AKG Perception 120 USB. Since there aren't many comparisons on youtube yet for the Røde microphone, I uploaded it for other people to see.

I did three tests, all for vocal recordings, with a Singing part, a VoiceOver type and a movie trailer voice, since those are the things I will most likely use the microphone for. You be the judge yourself and listen to which sound you like best.

Since many people have asked for it: The recording was done using Apple Logic Pro X (only available for Macs), and the original project can be downloaded here. It also contains the raw original files if you don't have Logic Pro but still want to have a listen.
