Shed time! Valve clearance check on Honda Bros and new Chain Guard on BMW S1000R

So two little jobs rolled into one video here... both of them had little stumbling blocks but I got there in the end! The chain guard section starts at 13:52

I wanted to check the valve clearances on the Bros before anything else happens to the engine; I just wanted to know if the valves were in spec during the time that I have owned and ridden the bike.

You might well tire of hearing me talk about my lack of confidence when it comes to undertaking major work on my Honda Bros. Its not something I can easily hide... to be perfectly honest I think it shines a light on deeper problems with my lack of self-belief and self-confidence; things that have been a problem for nearly as long as I can remember. So if I come across as a bit of a Negative Nancy I'm sorry, but it turns out that this project is about more than just improving the bike! 🤞💪👍
