If you find a great deal on AirPods Pro, they might just be fake, but does it really matter. When we compared audio quality, the fake ones actually sounded better for 1/2 the cost. The bass in the fake AirPods sounded better, but I recently read an article about Apple recalling most iPods pros because of crackling sounds in noise cancelation.

Regardless of which ones you choose to buy (Since the fake ones sound amazing), here is a video on some of the differences we noticed between two different sets of AirPods Pro purchased on eBay (Christmas 2020) and a real set purchased last year (Christmas 2019).

The packaging is literally the biggest difference. The fake ones don't seem to get the firmware update that added the spatial audio feature.

On eBay, if the price of your new AirPods pro is around $100 - $120, then you might want to steer clear of that deal as they might be fakes. (Well made fakes though).
