Istana Boneka was a Tunnel of Love kind Dark Ride that opened on August 29, 1985. The facade is designed with the nuances of a combination of many iconic places in Indonesia and all around the world, which are combined into a new and colorful building that gives a vibrant and unique impression. Accompanied by an impressive 18 version of Lagu Harapan Suci created by Teddy Darmanto and Sudharnoto inside the ride, visitors are invited to explore and experience the various ethnic cultures throughout the archipelago and various nations all around the world. There are about 600 dolls both animatronics and mannequin in this ride all entirely local made by BenDufan (similar to Walt Disney Imagineering).
